Why

Sometimes, there are distractions around you.  You may find images in the background of the file, etc.  Text Mode allows you to get rid of the distractions and helps you concentrate.  You can also adjust the settings for Text Mode to a color combination for the text and background, font, font size, and space between characters that is "pleasing" to your eye. Also, adjust the width of the webReader's Text Mode screen to your eye width, which encourages only the up and down eye movement.

When

Use Text Mode whenever you feel distracted or need to increase your focus and really concentrate.  Or, if you come across a section of text that is hard to understand, give Text Mode a try.
